Teddy ist wieder unterwegs...

Und auf geht es zu neuen Reisezielen. Gemeinsam mit 2 Geocoins hat er sich heute auf den Weg ins Saarland gemacht, um dort dann weiterzureisen in die USA und in die Karibik. Hab` viel Spaß, Teddy!!

Teddy war in Portugal

Endlich ist TravelTeddy wieder unterwegs. Nachdem er eine ganze Weile nur auf einem Regal verbracht hat, ging es endlich wieder los und zwar nach Portugal. Vielen Dank an Manu! Schön, dass Teddy auch ohne Reisepass mitfliegen durfte.

Teddy is back!!

2012...finally I have time for Travelteddy again! I admit that I was so busy lately that I even forgot Teddy when we travelled ... poor Teddy stayed in his box...

But now...he is back, he wants to see the world seeks again for new hosts! I will "built" him a new website (as soon as I found the photos on my crashed computer...)

Here is a photo of my arrival back in Berlin. After 10 days I reached my destination and I was happy to leave the box that I shared with nice gifts from Nancy. She gave me even a little Canada pin as a souvenir and a TravelAngel, that will protect me in the future from catastrohes like getting lost...
On my website are two more photos, one shows the Angel :)
Next Wednesday I will start my next journey, the destination will be London!

News finally...

After a long break, here are finally news from me. I had a wonderful time in Canada. It was again a long stay, but that does not matter, I don´t hurry around the world but want to see everything and really live with my hosts. I had an exciting time with Nancy. I also celebrated Christmas over there on a farm!
On Monday 31th I will board a parcel and fly back again to Berlin. Keep your fingers crossed that I will be fast enough..Then I have the possibility to see London in the middle of April!!
And I have an invitation!!! Another travelteddy (www.travelteddy.de) invited me to Bayreuth in June! What a great idea! I look forward to that trip a lot...meeting another bear will be very exciting.

Arrived in..Canada!!!

On October 2nd, one day before my first birthday I arrived in Canada. Here I visit Nancy and Scott in Hamilton, Ontario! I am sure I will have here an exciting time. I will celebrate Thanks-giving here and Halloween (I wonder what kind of custome Nancy will choose for me!)

My trip to Oslo

Malin and Dag went to Oslo for a weekend and I travelled with them. Here at Aker Brygge in front of the boat "Prinsessen" (the Princess).

My arrival in Norway

Finally I arrived at Malin and Dag in Norway, in end of june! I travelled together with a bunch of friendly frogs from Michèle and Olesea

I made it! I arrived in Norway! More news later :)

On the way to Norway

I am on the way to Malin....finally! I was sent in a parcel to her last Monday. I have several frogs with me (Malin collects them :)) and our ticket to Norway was much more expensive then my bus tickets from and to Moldova! The German postal service is incredible expensive when it comes to parcels...But they said I will fly with a plane and will reach Malin fast. I hope in the next days she will let me out of the parcel box and I can finally explore the area around Stavanger!

My next stop after the stay in Norway will be Canada!!

Home, sweet home....

I am home!! After a looooong stay in Moldova I came back to Germany. Olesea tried two times to send me with the postal service to Norway but both times I got lost and was luckily found at the Chisinau airport. Olesea and Michèle decided to send me via Germany to Norway, so Olesea sent me with the bus to Berlin where I arrived safely after just 2 days.
Tomorrow I will go with the postal service to Norway and meet finally Malin and Dag!

I was found!!!

Great news!!!After more then two months I was finally released! I was found by the Moldovan mail service after Olesea had let them search for me. I was at the airport. For unknown reason (maybe fear of flying??) I did not entered any plane to Norway or anywhere else.

Now I travel again...to Malin...in company with a frog and I hope this time we will make it!

Where is Teddy??

We have a problem....Teddy travels already 6 weeks between Moldova and Norway. Usual traveltime between this countries should be 2-4 weeks. We, Michèle, Olesea and Malin, hope, he is not lost and will arrive very soon. Unfortunality Teddy can not go on his already planned trip to Kenya as his flight goes very soon from Canada and he will probably not reach it on time .... and that is such a pity!

On the road again...

Currently I am travelling... I am on the way to Norway to meet Malin and Dag!

Taraclia!!

Olesea is originally from Taraclia. So we had a trip to this city or I would rather say village on the south of Moldova. We enter to Taraclia.


Now you see something like monument. There's written "Welcome" in 3 languages: Russian, Romanian and Bulgarian. Why Bulgarian? In Taraclia live many Bulgarians.

Here you see the lyceum Olesea was learning in.

This is a monument to all those who died in the wars. On those stones are inscriptions with the names of wars which took lifes of many people.

Christmas and the New Year

Well, Christmas came to Europe but not to Moldova. Here people don't celebrate Christmas on December 24. They celebrate it on January 6. And that wonderful tree is attribute of the New Year and gifts are given to the New Year.

Moldovan Wells

When you travel somewhere in Moldova you often meet wells on your way. They allow those thursty to drink water and continue their travel. I decided to show you 2 wells.


This one is new. It's built on the place where the old one was. You may see those long stick. Earlier they helped people to get water from wells.
